Hypnosis induction: the anatomy, and one complete script

An induction is not an incantation. It is a shape — and once you can see the shape, you can rebuild it at any length, in any mood, for anyone.

Four parts, each with one job. Fixation binds attention. Descent hands the body over. The deepener buys depth with time instead of effort. The count out decides how the next hour feels. What follows is not a summary of the shape — it is the script itself.

What you need

  • Low light, a warm room, somewhere to lie down or sit deeply.
  • Your voice half a step lower and considerably slower than in conversation.
  • Water for afterwards. Not symbolic — mouths go dry.

The frame, before the first word

Four sentences, spoken wide awake. They cost twenty seconds and prevent every mishap that comes from uncertainty:

“You don't have to get anything right. You'll be able to hear me the whole time, and you can stop whenever you want — just say stop. If your mind wanders, that isn't a mistake, that's part of it. I talk, you listen. That's all this is.”

The induction

Find a spot on the ceiling. Any spot. It doesn't have to be interesting, it just has to be there.

[fixation — the eyes commit before the body does]

And while you look at it, breathe in once, deeply … and let it go, slowly.

[pause]

Your eyelids get heavier every time you breathe out. Not because I said so — because you've been holding them open this whole time, and that is work.

You can keep them open a while longer. And at some point it becomes easier to let them close than to keep holding them. When that is, your body decides. Not me.

[wait for the eyes to close — do not push, do not comment]

Good. And now it goes downward.

[descent — falling intonation from here on, nothing else]

From your forehead down. The forehead smooths out. The jaw lets go — your teeth don't have to touch. The shoulders drop, further than you expected.

[pause]

The arms get heavy. Your hands are where they are, and you don't have to hold them. Your back gives its weight to whatever is under it. The legs get heavy. The feet fall outward.

And every time you breathe out, all of that sinks another hand's width.

[deepener]

I'm going to count from ten down to one. On each number you go one step further down. You don't have to do anything — just hear the number.

Ten … nine … deeper … eight … seven, and everything gets quieter … six … five, that's halfway … four … three … two … and one.

[each number quieter than the last; after “one”, say nothing at all for five seconds]

Stay there a moment. There's nothing to do. I'm here, and I'll go on in a second.

[whatever the evening is meant to be goes here — quiet, an image, or what's written in the book]

Direction in italics. Where it says pause, three of YOUR slow breaths are meant — not theirs.

The tells

Swallowing changes. The breath goes shallower and more even. The face smooths, especially between the brows. Eyelids sometimes flutter. All of that means it is working. What does not mean it isn't: shifting, clearing the throat, scratching an ear. Trance is not paralysis, and people who expect stillness talk themselves out of a trance that was already there.

The count out — the part beginners skip

Nobody gets stuck, but everybody comes back badly if you yank them. So return the way you came, reversed: “I'm going to count from one to five. At five your eyes are open and you're awake and clear. One — strength coming back into your arms. Two — the breath gets deeper. Three — you notice where you're lying. Four — move your fingers and your feet. And five: eyes open, wide awake, all the way back.” If the eyes stay shut, that is not an emergency: “Take the time you need. At five, when you're ready.” Then water, a blanket, and nothing important discussed for ten minutes.

What comes next

This induction is a carrier. What you put inside it decides whether the evening is restful or erotic. The complete guided evening — convincer first, an erotic moment placed inside the trance, three minutes of real silence, and the aftercare afterwards — is written out in Sinking. The full craft, from the first touch to writing your own scripts, is the Masterclass.

Questions

How long should a hypnosis induction be?

This one runs twelve to eighteen minutes depending on how much silence you can hold. Shorter works and rarely goes as deep — time is the active ingredient, not wording.

Can someone get stuck in trance?

No. Left alone, trance turns into ordinary sleep or simply fades. The count out still matters — it decides how the next hour feels, not whether they come back.

Do I need a special voice?

No. Slow beats deep, and pauses beat both. The most common beginner mistake is not the wrong voice, it is talking too fast.

What if they fall asleep?

Then they were tired and you have learned something about the time of day. Say their name once, quietly. If nothing happens, let them sleep and count them out when they wake.
